TechPrism ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website techprismhq.com and associated services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our content automation platform.

Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, referral URLs (via standard web analytics).

Connected Account Data: When you connect a social media account (e.g. TikTok) via OAuth, we receive and store an access token and a platform-assigned user identifier (e.g. TikTok open_id) to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
Affiliate Click Data: When you click an affiliate link, the merchant (e.g. Amazon) may collect data per their own privacy policy.

We do not collect your social media passwords. All account connections use official OAuth 2.0 authorization flows.

2. TikTok Integration — Detailed Data Practices

When you authorize TechPrism to connect to your TikTok account, the following data practices apply:

Data Collected:
- TikTok OAuth access token and refresh token
- TikTok open_id (a platform-assigned anonymous identifier — not your username or personal data)
- Upload and publish status responses from TikTok's API
- Basic profile info (display name, avatar URL) via user.info.basic scope — used solely to display your account in the TechPrism dashboard
How It's Used: TikTok data is used exclusively to fulfill your scheduled publishing requests within TechPrism. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Data Storage: Tokens are stored securely and encrypted at rest. They are never shared with third parties.
Retention: Token data is retained as long as your TikTok connection is active. It is deleted when you disconnect your account.
Revoking Access: You can revoke TechPrism's access to your TikTok account at any time via TikTok Settings → Manage Apps. You can also contact us at privacy@techprismhq.com to request deletion.
TikTok's Privacy Policy: Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Information

To authenticate and execute content publishing actions on your behalf on connected platforms
To analyze website traffic and improve our content and tools
To track which affiliate products are most relevant to our audience
To maintain and improve the TechPrism platform

4. Affiliate Disclosure

TechPrism is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

TechPrism is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. For TikTok-specific data deletion, you may also revoke access directly through TikTok's app settings.
